A speeding truck rammed into a crowd of devotees at a roadside temple in Bihar’s Vaishali district on Sunday (20 November), killing eight people and injuring several others. President, PM Modi announced ex-gratia
Police had earlier said that the post-mortem of all the eight victims had been done and the four injured victims were undergoing treatment.
President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Yadav have condoled the death of people in the accident in Vaishali, Bihar. PM Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased from PMNRF, while Bihar CM Nitish Kuma announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh.
