New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to about 71 thousand newly appointed recruits under the employment fair on Tuesday. The Prime Minister will also address these appointments through video conferencing on the occasion. “The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment And direct participation in national development,” said an official.
In October, 75,000 fresh recruits were handed over appointment letters under the job fair.
“The new appointees will be handed over physical copies of appointment letters at 45 locations across the country (except Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh). The posts of teachers, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers will also be handed over in addition to the categories of posts filled earlier. ” , Doctor, Pharmacist, Radiographer and other technical and paramedical posts are also being filled. A large number of posts are being filled by the Ministry of Home Affairs in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
The Prime Minister will also launch the ‘Karmayogi Prambh’ module. The module is an online orientation course for all new recruits in various government departments.
This will include code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, HR policies and other benefits and perks that will help them adapt to policies and transition smoothly to new roles. They will also get an opportunity to explore other courses on the platform to enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies.
