Mumbai: The Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra has issued a government resolution allowing one-day paid holiday to voters of Gujarat living in the state’s border areas to cast their vote in next month’s assembly elections. According to reports, “Maharashtra government’s GR allows one day paid leave for voters of Gujarat assembly election working in border districts of Maharashtra like Palghar, Nashik, Nandurbar and Dhule.”
All private companies have been directed to follow the order of the Maharashtra government. “If the order is violated, action will be taken,” the GR said.

Meanwhile, the Government of Maharashtra has also issued a GR regarding holding the World Marathi Convention on January 4-6, 2023 in Mumbai. In which all the organizations related to Marathi and Maharashtra of the state and the country will be invited.
